Promoting inclusive education in Greece: Final conference in Athens

The final conference for the Implementation of the European Child Guarantee – Promoting Inclusive Education in Greece, Phase 2 project will take place on 23 September.

The project is funded by the European Union through the Technical Support Instrument and carried out by the Agency in co-operation with the Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support of the European Commission (DG REFORM). It aims to assist the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports (MERA) and relevant education stakeholders in implementing an inclusive education policy framework.

The hybrid conference will take place in person, in Athens, and online. Representatives from MERA and the Agency will present the project’s results and how it has promoted inclusive education in Greece.

Other participants will include regional educational advisors, education professionals, policy experts and teachers from across Greece. Panellists will discuss how project outcomes could enhance inclusive classroom practices and will propose strategies for disseminating project results and ensuring their sustainability beyond the duration of the project.
