The fifth European Education Summit will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 1 December 2022. Entitled ‘Bright Young Minds’, it will give young people from across Europe the opportunity to shape the future of education.
The European Education Summit is an annual event held as part of the European Education Area, which aims to develop modern and inclusive education and training across Europe.
The fifth summit focuses on young people and how they can be allowed to develop the skills they need to play their key role in the future of our societies. Members of youth organisations and education stakeholders from across Europe, together with representatives from education ministries and European Union bodies, will share their solutions and approaches to making the European Education Area a reality.
The summit will explore the role of education in environmental sustainability, as well as ways to improve education systems to make them more resilient to future crisis. It will also look at digital transitions and how to make education more inclusive of all learners, including displaced learners from Ukraine.
The event will be live streamed on the summit webpage, which also contains more information about the programme and speakers.
The Agency’s Building Resilience through Inclusive Education Systems and Inclusive Digital Education activities examine some of the topics that the summit will explore.
