The core elements of effective communication are clarity, accessibility, trust and transparency. These core elements can turn existing communication into effective communication in education.

Clarity is essential for consistent and accessible information. Accessibility ensures that information and communication are adapted to everyone’s needs, so that they are available to all. Trust ensures that receivers are heard, and their comments, feedback and messages are valued and listened to. Transparency ensures information is readily available and released in a way that reaches different levels of stakeholders.
