As an individualised activity for all Agency member countries, Country Policy Development Support (CPDS) is central to the Agency’s role as an agent for policy change in inclusive education.

These synthesis reports summarise the information in the countries’ CPDS repositories. They present brief summaries of countries’ current situation in relation to 15 areas of policy for inclusive education. The reports indicate whether each policy area is to be initiated, requires development or is established and sustainable within the country’s education system.

This information synthesis will help countries to identify specific priorities and policy areas that they will commit to focus on to develop their inclusive education systems.

From 2024 onwards, the CPDS work will be expanded in phases to eventually include all Agency member countries. Synthesis reports for countries that have started the work and agreed to publish their reports are available to download below.
