All materials on this website are searchable. The results of your search appear in order of relevance. You can use the ‘Sort’ option on the right-hand side to sort them by title (alphabetically) or by date. The search results show the title, brief introductory text, the type of material (Country, Multimedia, News, Page, Project or Publication) and the date it was last updated.
You can filter the search results by Theme, Type, Country, Language and Year. You can use just one or several of these categories. To do so, click on a category. A number of options will appear. Select the ones you are interested in (they will appear highlighted) and click ‘Apply’. Any materials in the search results tagged with those options will appear. Click ‘Reset’ to clear your selections.
To search for a phrase, use double quotation marks around your phrase, i.e. "inclusive education".
New EASIE Dataset Available
The European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education (EASIE) data tables and country background information for the 2014/2015 school year are now available on the Agency’s Data web area.

European Agency Statistics on Inclusive Education: 2014 Dataset Cross-Country Report
The 2014 Dataset Cross-Country Report is based on the first EASIE dataset collected in late 2014, early 2015, focusing upon the school year 2012–2013.
European Parliament Workshop on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
The Agency study entitled ‘Inclusive Education for Learners with Disabilities’ was presented at a workshop in the European Parliament.
Inclusive Early Childhood Education Final Conference
The Inclusive Early Childhood Education (IECE) conference took place on 1–2 November 2017 in Lisbon, Portugal. The Agency organised this event in co-operation with the General-Directorate of Education, Ministry of Education and Science, Portugal.
Europe Begins in Lampedusa 2017
A series of events entitled ‘Europe begins in Lampedusa’ took place for the second consecutive year on the island of Lampedusa in Italy, from 30 September to 3 October 2017. The Italian Ministry of Education organised the event, together with the Italian Ministry of the Interior, the ‘Comitato 3 Ottobre’ association and the Municipality of Lampedusa and Linosa.
Resource for Developing Collaborative Policy and Practice
A unique resource for developing collaborative policy and practice has been developed and is now available on the Agency website. This final output of the project has been designed to provide materials to help countries move towards a rights-based approach to education.
Call for Action at the Luxembourg Hearing
On 16 October 2015, the Luxembourg Presidency of the European Union hosted the Agency’s fourth Hearing entitled ‘Inclusive education: Take action!’. Seventy-two young people with and without disabilities had the opportunity to discuss how their schools and communities ensure an inclusive education for them and what potential obstacles they are still facing in their education and their day-to-day lives.
Scotland Hosts International Inclusion Event
'Include and Empower' will take place on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December 2015, in Edinburgh.
External Audit in Iceland
On 3 November Agency Chair Per Gunnvall and Agency Director Cor Meijer signed a contract with the Icelandic Minister of Education, Science and Culture Illugi Gunnarsson for an external audit of the system for inclusive education in Iceland.
Inclusive Higher Education Event - Live Streaming
A Thematic Session focusing on Inclusive Higher Education is taking place on 12 November, in the framework of the Agency’s bi-annual meeting. Streaming live between 9.30 and 12.30.
